Taken from the emptybottle.com:
Chicago musical legend DAVID YOW is back, fronting experimental rock band QUI. As one might expect, the ensemble features an accomplished, prodigious group of musicians, idiosyncratic types well versed in metal, noise and punk idioms. YOW is, of course, quintessentially YOW here, and their new Ipecac release, Love's Miracle, finds him reclaiming his rightful place atop the independent music hierarchy. This will, wow, be their Chicago debut, and as though of you that have seen SCRATCH ACID or JESUS LIZARD can surely attest, we're in for a special, special treat.
Enjoy the show...
I went ahead and listened to this again to fill in some gaps, I really dig this band and the Qui brothers even though it seemed kinda weird for Yow but it worked
Crikey. They cover Floyd's 'Echoes'. This will either be interesting or excruciating.
