THE KINKS 15 June 1996-06-15 Oslo Norwegian Wood Festival The Final Concert Audience recording of The Kinks' show at the Norwegian Wood Festival in Oslo, on 15 June 1996.  This turned out to be the band's final ever concert. The recording is a fairly typical audience recording, with a bit of noise from people near the taper.  But a good show, with songs from throughout their 30 year career, ending fittingly with "You really got me". Then got lost on the way out with 100mg plus of THC coursing thru my blood only find myself abandoned by my friend and unable to find my way out of the parking lot. If not for a conflicting event I would totally go see Aventura at Dodger Stadium tonight. If not for the pandemic I might have never even noticed it was legal now!
