The best the local scene had to offer appeared in the backyard of an old large house in the El Sereno area in honor of a local club promoter. They only sing through vocoders. It's 3 guys in Neanderthal masks who make a big sound. Here is a soundboard recording of FartBarf I made at DEVOtional 2009. DEVOtional was (and may be again) an annual DEVO fan convention held in Cleveland, OH, which I organized from 2005-2010. The Beachland's house sound guy, Big Audio Mike, always delivered a killer mix, which is evident in this recording.
