Can the band please start putting out archive releases now?

 

 During lockdown when Aerosmith kicked out a few archive videos in a row I promised myself if they ever restarted their residency I would move to Vegas and go to all of them. Easy to do considering a huge chunk were canceled. In the end though quite daunting, I pulled most of them off except Sep 23/26 when I interrupted one vacation in lieu of another - going to Finland for the Hanoi Rocks reunion.

Also with the exception of Sep 17 I was ticketless every single one but did pretty good, usually getting in for $40-100. Though most look the same on paper Sep 17 is one of the best Aerosmith shows I have ever seen.

Dolby Live is now my favorite large venue.

    Sept 17 IS a great show, cranking it now and sound is real good. I presume this Aerosmith mega-post is in tribute to 76 year old Tyler's shredded larynx. Oh well, they were the 1st live show I ever attended, May '76 MSG in NYC and still one of my favorite bands. Thanks for ALL your Aerosmith posts!

    Archive.org is great. I use it for my blog. Some people post shows with only 30 second samples on them. I don't know why they tease like that. It gives some bootleggers power to control a show.

    When has the 1976 Washington DC show popped up? What's the name of the bootleg? What is it's quality?

      That means that it will not probably pop up. I know that Joe announced that they are going to release the Silverdome show on blu-ray and probably as digital audio on Spotify. They also have the Boston Square Garden show from September or October 1976 (Write Me from that show is on Pandora's Box)

Seems like the tour excitement is catching on and a few fans have found this page. I don't have anything specifically rare but might as well put it all up. Don't really wanna clear out any of the Google drives so it has to be Pixeldrain. There is a 5GB daily download limit but I probably only have a few days worth. back on Friday

Lots of crashing ticket prices but unfortunately I didn't feel like spending 6 hours on the bus to Inglewood and back so I have been taking it easy this week. And finishing transfers. Same old drill, I will write up the info files Friday morning and post, possibly deleting stuff to make room so if you have been dawdling on anything, grab it now because once it's gone, that's it. None of the stuff I was threatening to do in lieu of staying home and working on tapes ever materialized. Too hot, too complacent, THC burnout, etc.  + + + And again. Since I spent $229.60 on a concert ticket last night I will probably skip Herbie tonight and a bunch of other stuff I had on the calendar but it was so worth it. More time to work on transfers and get stuff up and out though.  Same old thing, if I have any new transfers, I will write up the info and post on Friday. Back On Friday

 I guess this means I will be back on Friday with any new transfers I might have done. Which ain't much.   * * * *    I will be back next Friday with at least the uncompleted projects I was trying to get up the other day. I didn't go to a single show in the last week period. I have a bunch on my calendar but other than the Prima Donna show I bought a ticket for, who knows what I will end up hitting. I just got a text from the dearly neglected saying "we should go see Billie Eilish" but I think she was one and done for me at least until she hits the corndog circuit. I might take her down there, find her a ticket and turn her loose inside like I did for the Foo Fighters Santa Barbara show but not spending "real money" on my ticket. I also notice stuff on the blog disappearing beneath the fold - when you click "more posts" at the bottom of the first page, it cuts out a huge chunk of content. Like 6-10 entries.
