Had free tickets. My original companion for this show and designated driver for most longer hauls had a medical emergency and abruptly moved away so I ended up taking the bus all the way there and back, getting home at 4am. I rarely venture out of LA County for shows but that's going to happen even less now.

Mainly just wanted to see Dramarama but Men Without Hats is pretty good live. 

Unlike the 80's show posted last week, the set changes were a little too quick. Like go out for a quick toke and come back to the next band already on.

    Thanks for this. Especially Animotion. Been looking for a complete show of theirs for years. I know they toured with Howard Jones in 1985 but I've never seen anything. This is the next best thing.Thanks

      I saw HoJo in the summer of 1985 in the Bay Area, I don't remember if there was any opening act but Howard was way cool!

    Thanks my friend. I'm glad you were able to make the show! We get these 80's shows here in Vegas from time to time. One that I was looking forward to, and had tickets, cancelled apparently due to low ticket sales; grrr. While I wasn't into the 'flock of seagull' hair scene at the time, I've embraced the 80's new wave music more and more as I've matured. This will be a fun one to check out.

 Getting some containers off Amazon but will probably be purging a lot. Not even watching anything right now and barely watch any of these. The format is terrible and those slimline drives are just foul. Dual layers? Even if I can get one to successfully burn now it will be unwatchable in a few years. Too bad, love video but can't make a career out of it. Or if I can, lemme know how.

it's been awhile, write to ijwthstd AT yahoo DOT com if you can help     **ETERNAL WANT LIST**  (Nothing added since Dec 25 post, just bumping to the top for new users) In this total media universe with everything at my fingertips, individual shows have taken on a lot less importance, however I still want to get my eyes and ears on these. This was copied off a much older list where I deleted several found titles so it's not impossible I'd say I have plenty to trade but I stopped withholding stuff for those purposes years ago. I can always offer up the super secret Mystery Drive list of my friend's rare masters (1971 to 2017) and pull something from there. Really one of the only things I am hoarding is that list only to preserve my sanity. Remember your hoarded recordings are only worth something while there are still people alive who care. So chasing the possible last show ended up being a futile exercise after all. This is all pretty much a blur now but I will do my best. I am way too tired to proof read this. Lots of grueling travel.
