About the Day & Show:
I was travelling via train and ship to London, with a good friend, an travelled on friday to Donington via the Bus. We were both sleeping outside on a farm in the grass near the Festival Ground and it was cold... (in the middle of the night)... ;-)
The Day was good, but the festival crowd in the UK always throwing things (food, drinks) in the air. If you've been there, you know what I'm talking about. Or may you've seen the short clip of Van Halen on UK TV.
Everything was flying in front of the stage :-))) and we were hit by drinks and stuff a lot of times ;-(
After the Festival we were walking through the night to the bus station and walking around until the morning, when our Bus starts driving back to London. Hard Weekend, I can tell !!
As I recorded everything, I had to have a lot of Tapes and a lot of Duracell Batteries too ;-)
But everything worked out great on my first Festival in England ! Great Experience !
