Best standalone moments: Doecci's guest spot with Isaiah Rashad, Will Schwartz and Roddy Bottum doing a stripped version of Now We Are Timeless at Zebulon or Gimme Shelter from the pit Oct 14 with Sasha Allen at the end of the catwalk and the spotlight shining through her white dress.

 

Best show? Tough one but Roger McGuinn doing a storytellers style solo acoustic set from front row center might be the one. Or expecting the usual 100 min Blue Oyster Cult set only for them to play 140 minutes including the rare (for me) I Love The Night.

 

All the trips, sometimes booked with 24 hours notice, were a blast. Like flying all the way to Florida for a sold out Rolling Stones show in a 7000 seater where most tix were 600-1000 plus and afraid I would be spending a fortune only to manage getting in for $100. Such a thrill that the show itself couldn't quite bring my adrenaline level to those heights that my spectacular score did a few hours earlier.
