I Won Coachella Tickets!

 


2008. It was when they still gave out individual day tickets. Immediately gave day 3 to my friend. He already bought tix for day 1 for Aphex Twin. He drove me there. I gave my day 2 extra to another friend. Got there and sold my day 1 spare. Crashed with friends then went back day 2 then my other friend drove me home. You could trade 10 empties for 1 fresh bottle so I grabbed like 40 bottles early and my water supply for the day. It was fun but mainly based that besides the Breeders and Tegan And Sara I was pretty emotionally uninvested. Toddler with VIP pass stormed the stage during T&S and the bouncers had a look of sheer panic in their face like are we going to have to tackle and subdue a 3 year old but the parents intervened.

(Guess my friend's Aphex Twin recording was never transferred but I just threw up the raw wav ...)

Last Call / Brief Intermission

I am completely out of storage options unless I wanna resurrect my FileFactory account, and that would just be rude, so I am going to have to start emptying out the Mega + Google accounts, at least until I can use WeTransfer again. So get it now because once they are gone, they are not coming back. But I don't have many new transfers, Jan is always a dead month for anniversaries and I wanna finish my book which often involves stopping and playing the songs mentioned within for the full immersive experience. So when I finish the book I will empty out the Mega account and post some more shows. Probably not going to reach the level of intensity of the last year or so however which is why I am not spending / taking donations etc. Decided to pump the money into hard drive and better storage options for my physical media.  In the meantime I was been trying for a few years to get audio resynced to a Jessica Von Rabbit video and the same person filmed Mudhoney from against the stage but
