FartBarf is a fantastic analog synthesizer dance band. They only sing through vocoders. It's 3 guys in Neanderthal masks who make a big sound.

Here is a soundboard recording of FartBarf I made at DEVOtional 2009. DEVOtional was (and may be again) an annual DEVO fan convention held in Cleveland, OH, which I organized from 2005-2010. The Beachland's house sound guy, Big Audio Mike, always delivered a killer mix, which is evident in this recording. It's a straight board feed, so there's very little audience noise and no real room sound.

Lineage is above. Originally recorded in 48kHz/16-bit. Audition was used to downsample to 44.1kHz. I also used Audition to boost the low end and applied some medium-level compression. I enjoy the result.

I have another SBD of FartBarf from DEVOtional 2010. It's not as stellar of a recording/mix as this, but it's still pretty fucking good. I'll upload that in a day or so.

Last Call / Brief Intermission

I am completely out of storage options unless I wanna resurrect my FileFactory account, and that would just be rude, so I am going to have to start emptying out the Mega + Google accounts, at least until I can use WeTransfer again. So get it now because once they are gone, they are not coming back. But I don't have many new transfers, Jan is always a dead month for anniversaries and I wanna finish my book which often involves stopping and playing the songs mentioned within for the full immersive experience. So when I finish the book I will empty out the Mega account and post some more shows. Probably not going to reach the level of intensity of the last year or so however which is why I am not spending / taking donations etc. Decided to pump the money into hard drive and better storage options for my physical media.  In the meantime I was been trying for a few years to get audio resynced to a Jessica Von Rabbit video and the same person filmed Mudhoney from against the stage but
