Here is the 5th and last installment of my 5 show Heaven and Hell tour of the East Coast. It was a hell of a trip down from the
Boston show down to A.C. on this day. Neither rain nor hurricane could stop our voyage to the last show of the Heaven and Hell
tour. My wife and I did 6 shows in 8 days which started with the Judas Priest show in Marylyand. Ending back at the HOB in A.C.
was a nice finish to the madness of travelling. The HOB is located at the Showboat Casino and it is a great place to have fun.
We had a great trip and got to hang out with old friends and made some cool new friends too.
For the HOB show I had an ok seat with hardly anyone around me. Again though, I am not happy with the bass in this show.
Even when I thought I had the bass roll of setting correct, the sound was just not as good as I expected. I will probably
be investing in some new mics if I cannot figure out the problem.
Anyway, the performance was pretty good, but I did expect more from the final show of the tour. I am sure the band was
tired as they had been touring, starting in Europe since Spring.
I did get to talk to the band a few times and they were all in good spirits. My wife got to talk to Geezer about being the
Metal god father of Veganism and Vinnie for advice for our daughter's drumming aspirations. We talked to Tony a bit about his
hand and impending operation as well as plans for the Dio upcoming Dio tour.
I can never thank Ronnie enough for his generosity to us all these years. He will hang out longer than anyone I know for
his fans. He makes everyone feel like they are so special and I have the utmost respect for Ronnie for that.
There is not very much noise from people yelling around me, but again, the bass is just hard to find and the highs are way too
much. The crowd was much smaller than any of the other 4 East Coast shows but they were really a great crowd.
It has been my pleasure and I hope you enjoy this show as well as the other Heaven and Hell shows from this tour that I have
uploaded here.
Enjoy and please do not sell. Support these artists by
purchasing their commercially released albums.
Thank you! I am glad this show was recorded. I never heard about it and some people didn't think it was recorded.
