set 1 is pretty much all guitar but still a great listen


until now, i haven't offered up any of my earlier mono recordings, but at
jeff's request, i dusted this one off for a listen this week, and i think
finger fans will find these two complete sets a worthy addition to their
music collections. also, my friend doug worked at a local college radio
station and arranged an interview between sets with gibbins and molland
which i also recorded and include here. a lively and "animated" session
ensued which i think you'll find entertaining. it has been reported that
the second set was cut short due to molland's condition:

Band Of The Month: OASIS **FINAL 2024-10-10 with Round 10**

Seems like the tour excitement is catching on and a few fans have found this page. I don't have anything specifically rare but might as well put it all up. Don't really wanna clear out any of the Google drives so it has to be Pixeldrain. There is a 5GB daily download limit but I probably only have a few days worth. This collection is by no means comprehensive. Share widely if you wish. To be honest going forward - I don't like posting anything I haven't listened to. I lost track and can't really dedicate my life to Oasis right now so it's up to you to point out any flaws, most importantly CD skips from bad rips or too much diginoise - 2 things that make me trash a recording. Anyone have a complete Manchester Dec 1994? The one on Dime is heavily redacted. Can any of the experts recommend anything particularly exciting? back on Friday

Lots of crashing ticket prices but unfortunately I didn't feel like spending 6 hours on the bus to Inglewood and back so I have been taking it easy this week. And finishing transfers. Same old drill, I will write up the info files Friday morning and post, possibly deleting stuff to make room so if you have been dawdling on anything, grab it now because once it's gone, that's it. None of the stuff I was threatening to do in lieu of staying home and working on tapes ever materialized. Too hot, too complacent, THC burnout, etc.  + + + And again. Since I spent $229.60 on a concert ticket last night I will probably skip Herbie tonight and a bunch of other stuff I had on the calendar but it was so worth it. More time to work on transfers and get stuff up and out though.  Same old thing, if I have any new transfers, I will write up the info and post on Friday. A lot of the stuff I listen to like one or 2 songs at a time, throw down the markers, get bored and move on to something e...

Back On Friday

 I guess this means I will be back on Friday with any new transfers I might have done. Which ain't much.   * * * *    I will be back next Friday with at least the uncompleted projects I was trying to get up the other day. I didn't go to a single show in the last week period. I have a bunch on my calendar but other than the Prima Donna show I bought a ticket for, who knows what I will end up hitting. I just got a text from the dearly neglected saying "we should go see Billie Eilish" but I think she was one and done for me at least until she hits the corndog circuit. I might take her down there, find her a ticket and turn her loose inside like I did for the Foo Fighters Santa Barbara show but not spending "real money" on my ticket. I also notice stuff on the blog disappearing beneath the fold - when you click "more posts" at the bottom of the first page, it cuts out a huge chunk of content. Like 6-10 entries.
