This is something special. First of all, this IS from the run of shows that produced Live At Max's Vol. 2 - a six song cassette tape that was sold back in the day. Most of the six tunes are on the Live At Max's CD also. The liner notes are very clear that the six songs were played in a row at the beginning of the show and that JT "tuned up" after So Alone. They also state that it was the first show of the run. This is not the first show of the run, they don't play those songs in order, and there is no tune-up after So Alone. In other words NONE of these songs appear on any official release.

OK, now that that is out the way the performance here is devastating. They are playing their asses off! Unlike their usual Max's shows this is one long set. Nolan's drumming, the way Johnny and Walter sing the songs together, the material itself, the banter - this show has it all. SQ is, as usual, excellent. This is either uncirculated or an upgrade with known lineage. Fresh burn/master cassette.
