HOLY SCHMOKES!
I saw them in '06 at the Wiltern,  and on June 20 2007 (at the El Rey/ L.A.)
and both those shows were good but the sound at both left little to be desired.  
The Casbah ALWAYS gets it right, so I was really looking forward to this.  
I wish you all coulda been there because, even though this recording is great, I
know that is only an approximation of how great this show was...ya hadda be there.
The audience was kinda strange in that they were in sort of a "stunned reverence" for most of
this set (you can hear Rob complain about it between songs occasionally) and weren't
really going "nuts."  All I can say is that it wasn't a sign of disrespect...weird though...

If you are ANY kind of Bird-fan, you had better bag this or be condemned to wear the
clown shoes and pointy dunce cap for eternity!

At the wiltern and el rey gigs you could barely hear Deniz Tek...well- he can be heard "5 by 5" on
this one (and then some at times!).

NOTE:  Pip Hoyle had to skip this tour- so it is "keyboard free" but it rocks the hell out anyhow.

Band Of The Month: OASIS **FINAL 2024-10-10 with Round 10**

Seems like the tour excitement is catching on and a few fans have found this page. I don't have anything specifically rare but might as well put it all up. Don't really wanna clear out any of the Google drives so it has to be Pixeldrain. There is a 5GB daily download limit but I probably only have a few days worth. This collection is by no means comprehensive. Share widely if you wish. To be honest going forward - I don't like posting anything I haven't listened to. I lost track and can't really dedicate my life to Oasis right now so it's up to you to point out any flaws, most importantly CD skips from bad rips or too much diginoise - 2 things that make me trash a recording. Anniversary Posts Are Back! (Or are they?) Or is it still back on Friday?

 I cracked open the text file where I copied in all the anniversary dates and decided to listen to some overflow shows I never got to in years past and arrange at least the next few days. As usual only posting stuff that's been listened to and only if I feel like listening. The amount of garbage shows with CD skips and the like is pretty incredible. CD skips? Really? The fact that I am the only one who makes a note of this just confirms most of us are mindlessly feeding the OCD monkey clicking and downloading anything to file away in case they find a cure for death and want something to listen to in 500 years. That and more than 3 bursts of DAT diginoise gets the recording deemed useless and the folder automatically deleted. Doubt I am resurrecting the method for good and definitely not redoing anything. If anything this might signal me demoting myself to passive listener. In the meantime, enjoy and reshare. More transfers on Friday. I did go to the first show of 2025 Friday though...
