Dear Dime, our great friend and contributor Dan Lampinski passed away today, 14 February 2025.
To the Dime community that Dan so loved, here is an uncirculated Black Sabbath tape from his collection. Dan also taped this show, but with his early gear.
The equipment that recorded this tape is unknown, but is likely identical to the Sony equipment that Dan taped with from 1974-1976.
Black Sabbath was Dan's first musical love; they were his first ever concert in 1971. It's fitting to close the circle with this tape.
A folder of photos and memories of Dan is included in this torrent.
Always remember - the more generous you are with your music, the more it comes back to you.
Team Lampinski
