Black Sabbath live August 31st 1982 at Poplar Creek Music Theater in Hoffman Estates Illinois USA



     This was the last show of the tour. You can really hear how fine tuned they played. Personal favorite! I played this recording over and over.
I was working in the evening and got off at 8.00 pm and said to myself....."I think I will grab any old ticket and get that Sabbath show tonight".
I went alone. In the theater they were inviting everyone down from the lawn as the entire last 20 rows was empty. It was a chore to move up in this
place as they really watched for that there. But move up I did with only getting caught and thrown back to the end of the rows once. I ended up 6th 
row left center right in front of Geezer. GEEZER CAME OUT ON THIS RECORDING EXC+++!! STUNNING!. The drumming is also amazing....heck this entire show kept getting the WOW
out of me. Best Sabbath I ever recorded. in the day I cranked this baby many many times on my best stereo system LOUD!

More transfers on Friday? Possibly.

    I started drafting this a few weeks ago but things keep changing. Feel free to disregard, if anything this is more of a diary / journal entry. I was hoping to have a lot more transfers but there is so much stuff on my February list that wasn't posted in years past that I really wanted to listen to. When the choice is the Itchy Pissholes in Vegas and The Who I will usually choose The Who. And I really have to listen to it as a few had inherent and correctible flaws such as CD skips and were thus trashed. And attempts at upgrades get me the exact same thing. Just merely being a conduit for recordings I have no intention of listening to just doesn't work which is why other than the odd untracked master I am not sending anything out I haven't heard. I always intend to post full comments and review but never do. Maybe next Friday I will have more as I recorded a few things and Vegas Anonymous keeps sending me stuff. Also found a treasure trove of untracked master recordings ...

My DVD Collection (Pictures)

 Getting some containers off Amazon but will probably be purging a lot. Not even watching anything right now and barely watch any of these. The format is terrible and those slimline drives are just foul. Dual layers? Even if I can get one to successfully burn now it will be unwatchable in a few years. Too bad, love video but can't make a career out of it. Or if I can, lemme know how.
