  1. Fred was one of the greatest slide players ever. I think Lomax found him in his 40s. Devastating skills. Pure blues. Earl Hooker and Fred were something special in that genre. Duane Allman in rock too. I'm not sure if anyone was better at slide, and don't tell me Ry Cooder. He isn't close.
