Show Notes:
Simply put, this show was a culmination of my following Tesla around for 7 years in order to get them to play my home state for the first time. t
The seed had been planted with the Fair organization in 2012, and finally the start aligned and by goodness they pulled roughly 2800 people into a 4K capacity venue...on a Tuesday night. And the floor was sold out. 27 years after they first hit the scene. Most bands are contracted to play a 75m set, and I *thought* the file stopped at the 1 hour 42 minute mark, or one minute over the limit for every year it took them to come to Alaska, but that may well have included the intro music and whatnot.

I got there about 1:00 PM, and then 10 hours later it was all over. They were kind enough to let me document the soundcheck (had 3 cameras and 4 audio recorders), and I was even allowed to patch into the board for my home-state show (show only, didn't have the cajones to get shot down asking for a patch for the soundcheck), which is matrixed here with one of the other 3 audio decks. My one little 'request' (as the setlists had gotten awfully static by this point) was they threw "Cumin' Atcha Live" in as the encore song, and even Frank remarked to me post-show that doing so was a pretty good choice. I told him they like their AC/DC and Metallica up here.

The board source was a bit hot (more so during the 1st 1/3 of the show vs. the last 2/3), not to the point of ruination, but they definitely were running it to the max.

Anyhow, there's other little side stories, but I'll just let the music do the talking. He's a modern day cowboy when it comes to uploading. He goes by Dennis. Give him thanks for throwing this together, as I'd have no idea how to do so. I just push buttons and stuff...I heard there's a logjam of stuff in the pipe. Stay tuned...
