This is the second of three Criminals shows that I have to share. This one's a little longer, a little looser, a little sloppier, but a really fun show. Plus it's Christmas--there's a spontaneous holiday song and a couple other impromptu tunes. There's also a great rocker called "Young Girls" that I've never heard anywhere else.

If you don't know, the Criminals were Syl's post-Dolls, pre-solo band. Some of these songs appeared on his first solo album, although they had first been demo'd by the Criminals. Eventually, a CD of  Criminals demos was released (under several different titles, including "...in Teenage News," "Bowery Butterfliles," and as half of the two-disc set "New York's A Go Go.")

Syl's first two solo LPs have recently been reissued (finally!) by Wounded Bird: http://www.woundedbird.com/
