This is the second night at Wembley Empire Pool, London (1976-03-13). The first night was, sadly, a catastrophe. On this recording, however, the band return to Wembley determined to make up for the previous night and produced one of the best performances that this line-up ever played. It really is an amazing performance; it's not a great recording, but it's clear enough to get a good trip going.

At 7:48 of Track 5 Disc One, someone shouts: "The fucking bar's closed!"; if that was you... unlucky.

At 7:29 of Track 3 Disc Two, someone shouts: "Bring back Blackmore!"; if that was you, please get in touch with me (I can recommend an excellent cocktail of prescription drugs that will help you out).

 Getting some containers off Amazon but will probably be purging a lot. Not even watching anything right now and barely watch any of these. The format is terrible and those slimline drives are just foul. Dual layers? Even if I can get one to successfully burn now it will be unwatchable in a few years. Too bad, love video but can't make a career out of it. Or if I can, lemme know how.

it's been awhile, write to ijwthstd AT yahoo DOT com if you can help     **ETERNAL WANT LIST**  (Nothing added since Dec 25 post, just bumping to the top for new users) In this total media universe with everything at my fingertips, individual shows have taken on a lot less importance, however I still want to get my eyes and ears on these. This was copied off a much older list where I deleted several found titles so it's not impossible I'd say I have plenty to trade but I stopped withholding stuff for those purposes years ago. I can always offer up the super secret Mystery Drive list of my friend's rare masters (1971 to 2017) and pull something from there. Really one of the only things I am hoarding is that list only to preserve my sanity. Remember your hoarded recordings are only worth something while there are still people alive who care.
