No, I am not at Coachella but early show/late show today and early show/hang outside venue with $500 resale tix only evening, just because.

NOTES: 

I'm going to be super honest here, out of 10+ years of going to Coachella (14 Coachella festivals total), this set is in my top 3 of all time.  The crowd was super small (thank Jack White for that? A younger EDM audience? who knows...), but those that were there were super into the set.  It was great to just be around such a happy and focused crowd who were strictly there for the band and their performance and nothing else.  I hadn't listen to much Drive Like Jehu, but I knew they were one of the "reunion" acts this year, and were in the vain of 90's punk/indie rock, and well, holy crap they blew me away.  I couldn't have imagined wanting to be anywhere else that night.  Despite the small crowd, the band seemed appreciative of us who were there and played an amazing 50 min set, with an incredible ending.  I'm definitely going to go back and check out their whole discography in the near future now.  The sound is great on this too...there's a little sound bleed in the beginning (due to Jack White), but once the band really kicks in then that goes away.

 Getting some containers off Amazon but will probably be purging a lot. Not even watching anything right now and barely watch any of these. The format is terrible and those slimline drives are just foul. Dual layers? Even if I can get one to successfully burn now it will be unwatchable in a few years. Too bad, love video but can't make a career out of it. Or if I can, lemme know how.

it's been awhile, write to ijwthstd AT yahoo DOT com if you can help     **ETERNAL WANT LIST**  (Nothing added since Dec 25 post, just bumping to the top for new users) In this total media universe with everything at my fingertips, individual shows have taken on a lot less importance, however I still want to get my eyes and ears on these. This was copied off a much older list where I deleted several found titles so it's not impossible I'd say I have plenty to trade but I stopped withholding stuff for those purposes years ago. I can always offer up the super secret Mystery Drive list of my friend's rare masters (1971 to 2017) and pull something from there. Really one of the only things I am hoarding is that list only to preserve my sanity. Remember your hoarded recordings are only worth something while there are still people alive who care.
