I Commited An Offense That Results in a 3 month Pixeldrain suspension

Yet it still seems to work.

Basically found a file on Sharemania from some ridiculous overrated act I don't even like and won't name from Coachella then reuploaded for a friend who was looking for it but could or would not navigate the original site it was on. 

Though I renamed it wedding video it was still pulled immediately and I was told it would result in a 3 month ban from uploading and my IP address would shared with the rights holder. Oops.

Of all the aspects of my life requiring extensive troubleshooting, finding a new provider that will keep the files as long as Pixeldrain isn't one of them. So if that happens, it will likely just result in a 3 month hiatus. Any possible legal action? Likely not survivable but we all know this level of passion and involvement comes with it's own risks.

      I will take a look but anything that results in me getting a flood of repost requests after a few days or weeks will lead to me deleting the posts and lying about their existence

    I had the same issue with them last year. They said it was a copyright infringement, although it was a Bootleg i put together. Made no sense, but I can use it again now.

    Remember what Sherlock Holmes said: "Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever's left - however improbable - is most likely the truth". If your video was flagged "immediately", as you say, then brother....somebody who knew what you uploaded, where to find it and what it was called (wedding video) most likely ratted you out.

      No, there is some sort of metacrawler. There was also a constant string of links on Sharemania where it was also disappearing. I somehow got a zip link with multiple sets fine after several attempts then upzipped and re-upped just the file. It was only going to one person and didn't have to tell him it was named differently as he know me and my cat aren't getting married. But Pixeldrain is working fine for now.

My Want List

it's been awhile, write to ijwthstd AT yahoo DOT com if you can help     **ETERNAL WANT LIST**  (Nothing added since Dec 25 post, just bumping to the top for new users) In this total media universe with everything at my fingertips, individual shows have taken on a lot less importance, however I still want to get my eyes and ears on these. This was copied off a much older list where I deleted several found titles so it's not impossible I'd say I have plenty to trade but I stopped withholding stuff for those purposes years ago. I can always offer up the super secret Mystery Drive list of my friend's rare masters (1971 to 2017) and pull something from there. Really one of the only things I am hoarding is that list only to preserve my sanity. Remember your hoarded recordings are only worth something while there are still people alive who care.
