Notes:
My first time getting to see a version of the Enz since becoming a fan, did not disappoint at all.
The band took to the stage wearing the big sheet, but we were distracted on the other side of the stage by someone else dressed like a futuristic moa.
During Double Happy there was a video showcasing Noel's costumes from throughout the years.
Full band arrangements of Stuff and Nonsense and Matinee Idyll (129), first in a long time on this tour.
No electric guitar on Spellbound, the brothers Finn both on acoustic, and sang the lead guitar lines.
Lots of funny stories and interactions between the members during songs.

Show Notes: The first Split Enz show in Australia since February 2009, and first tour since 2006 (also at Rod Laver Arena where I attended both shows). A fantastic show full of the hits everyone came to see, plus a few lesser known gems as well. A new drummer and bass player for this tour who were both excellent. A terrific night of music.
Recording Notes: I had good seats on the side half way up, and the sound is nice and crisp and clear. A really quiet respectful crowd around me, this is a nice listen. Enjoy!
Looking forward to fakename076 posting
