Notes: Aerosmith on their comeback "Back In The Saddle" tour, 42 years ago today at Bangor Auditorium.

Thought it might be fun (or not) to post these "Back In The Saddle" tour shows chronologically, whether they sound good, bad or ugly. 

A fellow Dimer (By-Tor X-1) located two uncirculated tapes from this tour, one of which is not listed in online tour dates, which prompted this re-visit of the tour. 

Now we have the debut of one of those shows here. This is just not any old audience tape. This is what could be considered a sanctioned audience recording, having been recorded by the front of house soundman from the mixing desk with an open-mic. Top flight equipment was used.

We get a nice clear recording of the show here, the only downside is Back In The Saddle is joined in progress and Same Old Song and Dance cuts out after the first minute or so. Thanks to AB and BE for working in the audio to bring a much more enjoyable listening experience.

This show marked the end of the Midwest, Canadian and Eastern portion of the tour. The band would back up their gear and head west for shows in Arizona and California...
