We are pleased to continue our series of releases featuring material from a dedicated West Coast taper and collector who passed away a few years ago. Prior to his passing, he meticulously transferred his extensive archive onto CDR's and entrusted them to a close friend. This friend, a stalwart of the Bay Area music scene for over five decades, understands the importance of sharing these historic shows with the collector's community.

Release #65 gives us another uncirculated (or under-circulated) excellent soundboard, this one is incomplete but what we have is excellent quality.

We owe a debt of gratitude to the anonymous West Coast collector (may he rest in peace) and his motivated friend, who recognized the importance of preserving these historically significant shows before they were lost forever. A special thanks also goes to dime member "davmar77" for facilitating the connection, and to Goody, our pitch master, for his unwavering support of all our historic releases on pitch as well as the occasional wow & flutter fix.

My Want List

it's been awhile, write to ijwthstd AT yahoo DOT com if you can help     **ETERNAL WANT LIST**  (Nothing added since Dec 25 post, just bumping to the top for new users) In this total media universe with everything at my fingertips, individual shows have taken on a lot less importance, however I still want to get my eyes and ears on these. This was copied off a much older list where I deleted several found titles so it's not impossible I'd say I have plenty to trade but I stopped withholding stuff for those purposes years ago. I can always offer up the super secret Mystery Drive list of my friend's rare masters (1971 to 2017) and pull something from there. Really one of the only things I am hoarding is that list only to preserve my sanity. Remember your hoarded recordings are only worth something while there are still people alive who care.
