It didn't rain and my baggie with dry socks cleared the checkpoint along with everything else this time.

I was on the fence because Thursday was so stressful and not fun, other than the satisfaction of pulling it off after a major setback that should have prohibited me from attending. 

Anyway I got in a song late and for awhile I am running internals til 19:12 set one and shuffling things in my pockets getting situated since I ditched a paper Trader Joe's back that was coming part. 

A blog user from Romania wanted to meet and it didn't work on Thursday since I got in really late and didn't want to leave my seat and figured that was worth at least going to Hollywood for. But since I was there ... it's attempting either Aerosmith or Dixie Chicks. Since it didn't rain it sent demand into the stratosphere. Once again got a free one. Getting the ticket itself didn't play out as usual but that's a story for another day. Mailing my autographed Walk This Way book from 1997 tomorrow though it wasn't part of the deal.  

Unfortunately really clear and windy and this time I wore a full suit but no real good place to put my mics, with no screens. Usually they go fine under a T shirt not polyester or whatever this shirt was made of and a blazer in the way. So there could be some issues but also just assuming other people are rolling. Never went to my seat just standing in the walkway between J and N or whatever. Wind blowing the sound around and people walking in front of me. But at least I could see what was going on and enjoy it a lot more than I did Thursday.

No repeat GNR set! Unlike Monday with it's abrupt walk off, they hung around a bit but it sure feels like the end for real. We'll see.

My Want List

it's been awhile, write to ijwthstd AT yahoo DOT com if you can help     **ETERNAL WANT LIST**  (Nothing added since Dec 25 post, just bumping to the top for new users) In this total media universe with everything at my fingertips, individual shows have taken on a lot less importance, however I still want to get my eyes and ears on these. This was copied off a much older list where I deleted several found titles so it's not impossible I'd say I have plenty to trade but I stopped withholding stuff for those purposes years ago. I can always offer up the super secret Mystery Drive list of my friend's rare masters (1971 to 2017) and pull something from there. Really one of the only things I am hoarding is that list only to preserve my sanity. Remember your hoarded recordings are only worth something while there are still people alive who care.
