Wake up and pull up Sun Ra, 44 years ago on this date in history.

It takes a good 10 minutes to realize that's not some bizarre percussion instrument but honest to gawd CD skipping.

Seriously, what the fucking fuck.

Just one reason why I never post anything I have never personally listened to.

Got so much useless garbage off Dime and even The Trader's Den where "quality is the standard." And no one ever says anything. Because no one ever actually listens to anything.

I think I should just suck it up and see what mental health options I have with new health plan I still haven't even looked at. I'll tell you what the therapist says. Maybe it's time to open a support group for those of us who can successfully leave this world behind.

    Hmmm, I just found my copy. I haven't listened to the whole thing yet but after spot checking I couldn't find any CD skipping. It's mono and the first few tracks are in really weird shape. Hard to describe without showing screen captures. Those tracks have horrible brick wall limiting and then volume wise they're at seemingly random levels.

    Yeah, on Dime people don't listen to half the stuff they grab and even when they do they don't really hear. "Oh, it sounds wonderful", except no it doesn't.

    Me again. Found a bunch of random gaps that can be closed up without losing anything.
    And there is lots of digital junk stuff here and there. Didn't find the ten minutes of CD skipping yet.
    I'm going to work on it and see what can be done.

    has anyone come across sun ra 1992-07-04 cental park, opening for sonic youth. was right up front for that great event, but have still never come across the sun ra set.

    I started drafting this a few weeks ago but things keep changing. Feel free to disregard, if anything this is more of a diary / journal entry. Band Of The Month: OASIS **FINAL 2024-10-10 with Round 10**

Seems like the tour excitement is catching on and a few fans have found this page. I don't have anything specifically rare but might as well put it all up. Don't really wanna clear out any of the Google drives so it has to be Pixeldrain. There is a 5GB daily download limit but I probably only have a few days worth. This collection is by no means comprehensive. Share widely if you wish. To be honest going forward - I don't like posting anything I haven't listened to. I lost track and can't really dedicate my life to Oasis right now so it's up to you to point out any flaws, most importantly CD skips from bad rips or too much diginoise - 2 things that make me trash a recording. Anyone have a complete Manchester Dec 1994? The one on Dime is heavily redacted. Can any of the experts recommend anything particularly exciting?
