LIMITED TIME / LAST TIME https://pixeldrain.com/u/M9u22bWp RAMONESFOREVER.COM PRESENTS....20 YEARS OF RAMONES LIVE RECORDINGS 1976-1996. During the next 20 weeks I will be uploading one Ramones concert from each year starting from 1976.  I will continue to upload each Saturday until I reach their final year of 1996.  If this is a hit, then perhaps I can upload more frequently.  I am only uploading Ramones audio recordings, I will not upload any solo performances or DVD recordings. I have a large collection of over 1300 Live Ramones recordings on CD & DVD.  I have spent many years and a lot of money (media & postage) trading for these recordings.  I have received these trades from people from all over the world including: Italy, Belgium, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Canada, Finland and USA. Yes...the Ramones did start in 1974, but there are not that many recordings from the first two years. Most Ramones recordings out there are one or two tracks....

"The Business Of Fun" podcast latest episode

As you know the sub-category of ticketing is also one of my favorite topics when it comes to concerts. The Business Of Fun podcast is always on rotation and this is an excellent episode with Eric Fuller, who you might remember from the congressional hearings a few years back.  They really go into some of the absurdities on price caps. Also this was being pushed by the IMP group for the District Of Columbia and prior to this episode being recorded, Fuller counts all the shows into next June and only 16% are sold out. 3 of those are a 4 night run by comedian John Mulaney so many of those demand is fully satiated. One constant lie is "Bots are getting all the tickets" and then marking them up for resale. As someone who almost only buys resale tickets this couldn't be further from the truth. From around the 20 minute mark. Says the one thing Democrats and Republicans agree upon is "changing the rules around ticketing because it resounds well with the public. The problem...

Lollapalooza 1996 @ Irvine Meadows 1996-08-03 + 1996-08-04 (Metallica, Soundgarden, Devo, Ramones, Rancid, Jonny Polonsky)

This was a fascinating chapter of the new Lolla book. They were mainly booking out of the way places as not to cannibalize the draw for Metallica's upcoming arena tour. However some of those cities just were not selling. Turns out people really do just want to go to the venues they know instead of a field in the middle of nowhere. For the longest time this was between Indio and Bakersfield (!!) before just settling on Irvine Meadows again. Though reported as sold out it was not a tough ticket and they were selling at the box office day of show. By this time the fix was in on Metallica and their fans knew years of touring would follow the release of Load so they were possibly not quite the draw they otherwise would have been. Posting one more time.       https://pixeldrain.com/l/XS75Bt9U   This was originally transferred as a 2 CD set with the Whisky show as filler so leaving completely intact.  METALLICA IRVINE,CA:IRVINE MEADOWS 8/3/96 "Lollapalooza"...
