Hi Lou fanatics,
I have done phase, level, pitch correction and new EQ
There was a drop out in Walk On The Wild Side (at 6:50). I have patched it with a bit from 1976-10-29 - Orpheum Theatre - Boston Mass. It`s not perfect, but for me it`s better than with a drop out. I have kept the drop out version in a separate folder.
I have returned missing "Heroin" from the "Between Thought And Expression" box set.

Lineage : I downloaded this new torrent from the Cooking For The Down Five blog as flac files which listed it as a "complete first generation tape of the KMET FM Radio Broadcast".
After that I put it through Magic Audio Cleaning Lab > CD > EAC > Wav > Flac Frontend > flac8 > Qualitybootz >My PC > You

This concert has appeared in at least four guises over time, each with slightly different tracklistings/times:
1.  Claim 2 Fame [CD source]
2.  Super Golden Radio Shows [CD source]
3.  Sweet Lou [LP source]
4.  Cassette Source [Gordon L's source!]
In my opinion the sound is very good, and to my ears is better than the Claim 2 Fame CD. It sounds like it could even be the source for that CD as it has extended versions of many songs including the various DJ chat that has been edited out of the Claim 2 Fame CD.
I have made some alterations to this cassette version:
a) I have boosted the left channel (due to drop in level) on Kicks (from 7:13), She's My Best Friend, I'm Waiting For The Man, You Wear It So Well, Claim To Fame, Coney Island Baby (from 1:25).
b) I very slightly gave extra punch to most songs as they sounded slightly thin.
c) I smoothed over some of the joins between tracks (ie this shows that it wasn't taped continuously off the radio) and a couple of drop-outs.
d) I moved the start of some tracks (this, and (c) above, is why the timings are now different to the original blog files).
e) I faded out the ends of both CD's slightly so they didn't end abruptly.
f) I removed Heroin which has been officially released (on Between Thought And Expression boxset).
I have included new artwork as well as including the artwork originally included on the Cooking For The Down Five blog.

    I started drafting this a few weeks ago but things keep changing. Feel free to disregard, if anything this is more of a diary / journal entry. I was hoping to have a lot more transfers but there is so much stuff on my February list that wasn't posted in years past that I really wanted to listen to. When the choice is the Itchy Pissholes in Vegas and The Who I will usually choose The Who. And I really have to listen to it as a few had inherent and correctible flaws such as CD skips and were thus trashed. And attempts at upgrades get me the exact same thing. Just merely being a conduit for recordings I have no intention of listening to just doesn't work which is why other than the odd untracked master I am not sending anything out I haven't heard. I always intend to post full comments and review but never do. Maybe next Friday I will have more as I recorded a few things and Vegas Anonymous keeps sending me stuff. Also found a treasure trove of untracked master recordings ...

My DVD Collection (Pictures)

 Getting some containers off Amazon but will probably be purging a lot. Not even watching anything right now and barely watch any of these. The format is terrible and those slimline drives are just foul. Dual layers? Even if I can get one to successfully burn now it will be unwatchable in a few years. Too bad, love video but can't make a career out of it. Or if I can, lemme know how.
