If you love, or even like, Rainbow’s 1976-78 material, you MUST grab this version from Tarantura entitled
"Ave Maria" and which the recording is taken directly from Mr Peaches Master tapes.

This audience recording is quite frankly stunning in quality. The recording is deep, powerful, and balanced.

I know rating sound on recordings on such as these is very subjective and is very much in the ears of the listener,
but I am going to say that the sound on this show is absolutely as good as it gets for an audiece recording so
10/10 or Ex+/Sup.

I own this show on four different recordings/titles and I have to say without doubt to my ears this is the best version
I've heard.

I received this in a trade for some Hawkwind so thank you (Mr c)

As always I'd like to thank the taper (Mr Peach) and also those that have passed this along the bus so to speak.

My only involvement in this, is writing this info file, and adding the md5 checksum. And of course passing it along to you.

Consequently feel free to share this recording if you want, but I received this in lossless format so please don't
convert to lossy unless it's for personal use.

Support the band by buying the official merchandise etc and finally DO NOT SELL THIS.

It has been produced by fans for fans FOR FREE TRADE ONLY.

Enjoy vinatge Rainbow

Cheers

  1. Thank you IJ. Sadly Jimmy Bain is gone as well (1947-2016).
