Andy McCoy Band @ Kouvola, Finland 2020-01-24

LIMITED TIME / LAST TIME   https://pixeldrain.com/u/agJPAq54   Andy McCoy Band - Mulligan's, Kouvola, Finland 2020-01-24 Zoom H1 -> Ozone 8 -> RX 6 -> 16 bit flac 00. Intro tape ('The Real McCoy') 01. 21st Century Rocks 02. Tragedy 03. Batteram 04. The Hunger 05. Strung Out 06. Blues medley 07. I Didn't Know She Could Rock 'N Roll 08. Seven Seas 09. Andy was a bit moody, giving the front row instagrammers and youtubers a hard time which kind of stalled the momentum of the show for a while. In the end, though, it was all good - not the best Andy McCoy show I've witnessed but far from the worst. Sadly (but perhaps deservedly) there was no encore. The recording sounds ok to me (sample included). Technically the date is 2020-01-25 as the show started past midnight but who cares. Andy McCoy - gu...

LIMITED TIME / LAST TIME https://pixeldrain.com/l/WcqL5paF no setlists Pigface features the great Hanin Elias on vocals. No new transfers this week but I did break the DNA Lounge official soundboard, a 6:12:00 mp3 file, into separate bands. Probably should have wrote down Pigface setlist while playing thru but it was kind of the soundtrack for other activity. Maybe I will have new stuff next week, working on things but just nothing I can sit down and enjoy in 1 sitting all the way thru. Listen to a song or two, throw down markers and move on to the next file. If this were in WAV I probably would have tracked out further.

The band was overloaded with phenomenal talent, including musician, producer, arranger John Simon at the piano, the guitarist from Janis Joplin's Pearl album, John Hall (who would soon take off with his own band Orleans) and Buddy Miles Express bassist Bill Rich. Drummer Greg Thomas and percussionist Kwasi "Rocky" DziDzournu rounded out the core unit. However it was Howard Johnson and his fellow tuba and horn playing buddies, Bob Stewart, Joseph Daly and Early McIntyre that largely contributed to this band being so memorable. Here is Taj Mahal and the same incredible unit recorded at ...
