Finally forced myself out to a real show.

Nickel Creek was excellent, Father John Misty was ho-hum and Kacey Musgraves was really good. Note I didn't move or touch the levels at all, those disparities in dynamic range are purely house sound. She had a really wide PA array, perhaps to compensate for the mellower sound. Recorded from Sec 210 row 10. Not my original seat but plenty of empties and I didn't haul myself all the way to the top. Paid $31 on the secondary, and last minute, had to make sure I would get there in time for Nickel Creek following an instore that ended at 5:35.

I blew off so many cheap tickets the last month or two (hey I LOVE the secondary market and will defend it to the death) but the novelty of going to a concert for "only" $20 has kinda worn off especially when including the massive investment of time and energy.

Nickel Creek joins Kacey Musgraves on 1 song. Be sure to read the Dime NAB before posting. Not sure the policy on guest appearances but that was the best part of the whole show and this show would not be anywhere near as enjoyable without it.

back on Friday

Lots of crashing ticket prices but unfortunately I didn't feel like spending 6 hours on the bus to Inglewood and back so I have been taking it easy this week. And finishing transfers. Same old drill, I will write up the info files Friday morning and post, possibly deleting stuff to make room so if you have been dawdling on anything, grab it now because once it's gone, that's it. None of the stuff I was threatening to do in lieu of staying home and working on tapes ever materialized. Too hot, too complacent, THC burnout, etc.  + + + And again. Since I spent $229.60 on a concert ticket last night I will probably skip Herbie tonight and a bunch of other stuff I had on the calendar but it was so worth it. More time to work on transfers and get stuff up and out though.  Same old thing, if I have any new transfers, I will write up the info and post on Friday. Last Call / Brief Intermission

I am completely out of storage options unless I wanna resurrect my FileFactory account, and that would just be rude, so I am going to have to start emptying out the Mega + Google accounts, at least until I can use WeTransfer again. So get it now because once they are gone, they are not coming back. But I don't have many new transfers, Jan is always a dead month for anniversaries and I wanna finish my book which often involves stopping and playing the songs mentioned within for the full immersive experience. So when I finish the book I will empty out the Mega account and post some more shows. Probably not going to reach the level of intensity of the last year or so however which is why I am not spending / taking donations etc. Decided to pump the money into hard drive and better storage options for my physical media.  In the meantime I was been trying for a few years to get audio resynced to a Jessica Von Rabbit video and the same person filmed Mudhoney from against the stage but
