Notes: I wanted a holiday, Crowded House were touring New Zealand, why not combine the 2 were my thoughts, so that's what I did. 2 weeks of travelling around the spectacularly beautiful South Island of New Zealand (if you've ever thought about going, do it), and then enjoying a terrific Crowded House show in the very Scottish like abode of Dunedin. The setlist included a heartfelt tribute to the sadly missed Martin Phillips covering The Chills' Pink Frost - while Neil and Liam had covered the song before (with Martin), I believe this was the first time by Crowded House. Well worth the flight across the ditch. An excellent show in a beautiful venue.

Recording notes: This is an excellent sounding recording. I was in the balcony seats and had a very quiet respectful crowd around me. Expertly mastered by Chris, this is a nice one to listen to. A few photos I took are also included. Enjoy!

Band Of The Month: OASIS **FINAL 2024-10-10 with Round 10**

Seems like the tour excitement is catching on and a few fans have found this page. I don't have anything specifically rare but might as well put it all up. Don't really wanna clear out any of the Google drives so it has to be Pixeldrain. There is a 5GB daily download limit but I probably only have a few days worth. This collection is by no means comprehensive. Share widely if you wish. To be honest going forward - I don't like posting anything I haven't listened to. I lost track and can't really dedicate my life to Oasis right now so it's up to you to point out any flaws, most importantly CD skips from bad rips or too much diginoise - 2 things that make me trash a recording. Anyone have a complete Manchester Dec 1994? The one on Dime is heavily redacted. Can any of the experts recommend anything particularly exciting? Anniversary Posts Are Back! (Or are they?) Or is it still back on Friday?

 I cracked open the text file where I copied in all the anniversary dates and decided to listen to some overflow shows I never got to in years past and arrange at least the next few days. As usual only posting stuff that's been listened to and only if I feel like listening. The amount of garbage shows with CD skips and the like is pretty incredible. CD skips? Really? The fact that I am the only one who makes a note of this just confirms most of us are mindlessly feeding the OCD monkey clicking and downloading anything to file away in case they find a cure for death and want something to listen to in 500 years. That and more than 3 bursts of DAT diginoise gets the recording deemed useless and the folder automatically deleted. Doubt I am resurrecting the method for good and definitely not redoing anything. If anything this might signal me demoting myself to passive listener. In the meantime, enjoy and reshare. More transfers on Friday. I did go to the first show of 2025 Friday though...
