Okay I know I said I am ignoring repost requests but I woke up wanting to hear Morning Glory Oasis and this is what I gravitated to. I posted a YouTube link and the following commentary to Facebook:

Morning wake up music. PEAK OASIS! Now this is a great Oasis show because they have yet to dilute the catalog with weak albums and completely forgettable songs. The show is still about the music as I would classify Knebworth as more of a mass media event targeted to kids who wanna be where the cool kids are.

And in spite of the globalization of the concert market I still don't see them as a stadium act in the US.

Assuming the rumors about SoFi or the Rose Bowl are valid, I would recommend holding off on buying. Just let the amateurs and discorders do their thing, then scoop them up closer to showtime. And the only thing they have is a really strong catalog when tilted to the earlier material which always kept me coming back even if they aren't particularly dynamic onstage.

I still remember their last LA show at Staples Center with the upper deck mostly empty.

back on Friday

Lots of crashing ticket prices but unfortunately I didn't feel like spending 6 hours on the bus to Inglewood and back so I have been taking it easy this week. And finishing transfers. Same old drill, I will write up the info files Friday morning and post, possibly deleting stuff to make room so if you have been dawdling on anything, grab it now because once it's gone, that's it. None of the stuff I was threatening to do in lieu of staying home and working on tapes ever materialized. Too hot, too complacent, THC burnout, etc.  + + + And again. Since I spent $229.60 on a concert ticket last night I will probably skip Herbie tonight and a bunch of other stuff I had on the calendar but it was so worth it. More time to work on transfers and get stuff up and out though.  Same old thing, if I have any new transfers, I will write up the info and post on Friday. Last Call / Brief Intermission

I am completely out of storage options unless I wanna resurrect my FileFactory account, and that would just be rude, so I am going to have to start emptying out the Mega + Google accounts, at least until I can use WeTransfer again. So get it now because once they are gone, they are not coming back. But I don't have many new transfers, Jan is always a dead month for anniversaries and I wanna finish my book which often involves stopping and playing the songs mentioned within for the full immersive experience. So when I finish the book I will empty out the Mega account and post some more shows. Probably not going to reach the level of intensity of the last year or so however which is why I am not spending / taking donations etc. Decided to pump the money into hard drive and better storage options for my physical media.  In the meantime I was been trying for a few years to get audio resynced to a Jessica Von Rabbit video and the same person filmed Mudhoney from against the stage but
