No Transfers And Going On Extended Vacay

As you can see, I didn't complete a single transfer this week.

Flying out for 9 days this afternoon. A very grueling trip across several countries including 2 airport sleeps. Considering my back pain is a bit higher than usual and my energy lower not sure that's a good idea.

The whole thing was pretty haphazardly put together based entirely on a $109 flight to London I found. and an urgency to travel abroad. Not staying there.

There is a semi-bucket list band as a possibility but only because about all there is left to do with a bucket is kick it. More about just getting out of the country for the hell of it before we transition any further into an entirely new historical era. So there may or not be a post or two depending on what I do.  Kinda crazy to commit to that sort of travel for a show when I don't really want to go here anymore.

When I get back there is hopefully enough gas in the tank for at least 2 more shows.

Then I must attempt the more daunting task of figuring out what to do with the rest of my life. And it ain't going to be this, at least since I can't figure out how to grind a living wage out of it. Also it's just not ringing my bells like it used to and I am less inclined to force it in service to my OCD. And the culling will begin as soon I decide I want to actually take the time.

  1. It always seemed to me you have been living a great life, seeing (and recording) so many concerts across the U.S. and elsewhere. Believe me, having to work just makes it so hard to do all the things you have been doing.

  2. Empathy for the back pain. Hurt my leg and can't stand for more than about 10 minutes but still pushed though 4 shows in the last week. Had to sit for most of them and it's nowhere near as fun as being right up to the stage. Take care of yourself.

  6. Ride on ride on. I got out of America last year and now I enjoy life in Central Europe. It's reminiscent of America 30 & 40 years ago and there's record shops & concerts galore! Got my tickets for Pantera & Maiden next year. Thanks for taking the time to enlarge my collection. God bless w your future.

    1. Which country did you move to? What made you move and what made you choose the country you're in?
Are you working there or living off a pension or investments.

    2. Hungary, savings. The current decline of America & the quality of life in Hungary. Things won't get better unless Trump wins and even then the U.S. is a pariah in the eyes of the world. If Brics decide to dump the dollar, as the Saudis did, the aftermath will be devastating. A lot of Americans are moving to Serbia as well, Slovenia is also a destination. Western Europe is as bad as North America.
