LIMITED TIME / LAST TIME   After 3 decades of near misses including being about 12 hours off from booking a grueling trip to Florida that would have involved me going to San Diego to meet my sister at the Blink 182 show then riding back with her to Vegas to fly to Tampa on Frontiers miles I have sitting on, then  me and my friend to Orlando before it got canceled. Whew. In 2002 I went to the El Rey Theatre and there were 5 people hanging outside and the start time came and went before someone called Ticketmaster and found out the show was canceled. Perverse is my favorite album. There was a webcast of the 2002 Jacksonville show I have never been able to track down. Great show but would have preferred a better venue. I had 3 shows on the calendar yesterday but the previous night I scratched a band off the very top of the bucket list after over 3 decades of near misses and needed a bit more time to recover and reflect. So I stayed in and watched this excellent Mike Watt & Missingmen set from the Johnny Stingray Memorial as it was streamed live before going to the Brand Park and hiking up to the halfway point while I still had a bit of daylight. If I transfer the bucket list show it will be up Friday along with any other new transfers. There are at least 2 sources as Vegas Anonymous drove out for it too. Lots of crashing ticket prices but unfortunately I didn't feel like spending 6 hours on the bus to Inglewood and back so I have been taking it easy this week. And finishing transfers.
