The best the local scene had to offer appeared in the backyard of an old large house in the El Sereno area in honor of a local club promoter. In the intervening decade some onstage this evening also passed on. A Pretty Mess also played and probably the whole reason I attended (as I went to every possible show) but I love Dora too much to put up a set that puts the music in an unflattering light thanks to constant sound problems.
